If people in the media cannot decide whether they are in the business of reporting news or manufacturing propaganda, it is all the more important that the public understand that difference, and choose their news sources accordingly. Thomas Sowell

Rashida Tlaib, a member of the "Squad," was rubbing shoulders with her Palestinian comrades and blasting President Joe Biden's handling of Israel’s war against Hamas in Gaza, deriding him as an "enabler" of genocide.

The Hamasachela event was attended by at least one member of a designated terrorist organization and funded by an asset of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). The conference, named the People’s Conference for Palestine, took place over a weekend and featured speakers, including Wisam Rafeedie, an activist with ties to the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), a group that the U.S. has designated as a foreign terrorist organization.

The event was organized by a left-wing activist group called The People's Forum, which is part of the "Singham Network," a global web of nonprofits, fiscal sponsors, and alternative news sources connected to Neville Roy Singham, an American-born tech mogul based in Shanghai, who has been described as a "conduit" for CCP geopolitical influence.

Tlaib and others shared criticism of Biden, including accusing him of being an "enabler" of genocide and slamming the president and her Democratic colleagues for condemning anti-Israel campus protesters who disrupted operations to protest their schools' ties to Israel.

They also expressed concern over the Biden administration's stance on the International Criminal Court's (ICC) decision to issue an arrest warrant for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and other senior Israeli officials over alleged violations of the Genocide Convention under international law. She warned that pro-Palestinian Americans will hold Biden and congressional lawmakers accountable for their support for Israel in the upcoming elections.

The People's Conference for Palestine, held in Detroit from May 24-26, 2024, brought together various organizations, collectives, movement leaders, community members, students, intellectuals, artists, cultural workers, and activists to reflect, exchange, and strengthen themselves in their fight for a free Palestine. The event was organized to address the ongoing and brutal genocide against the Palestinian people, aiming to mobilize a mass movement committed to Palestinian national liberation.

Speakers and panelists talked about their hope for the fall not only of Israel but of the United States as well. (The conference was held in Detroit.) “Today, through the Palestinian revolution, see clearly that there is no reforming the U.S. empire,” one said, describing pro-Palestinian activism as a “gateway struggle.” Another reportedly called to “defeat not only the mighty Israeli army, but U.S. imperialism itself.”.

The event featured several prominent speakers, including Wisam Rafeedie, an activist associated with the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP). The PFLP is a political party and militant organization founded in 1967 and is considered a terrorist group by the United States, the European Union, Canada, and Israel. Despite this designation, the conference provided a platform for diverse voices and perspectives in the Palestinian struggle for liberation.

Among the notable speakers, Sana' and Milad Daqqa, the wife and daughter of the late Palestinian prisoner Walid Daqqa, were welcomed with enthusiastic chants and a warm reception. Walid Daqqa, a member of the PFLP, died in an Israeli prison in April, making their presence at the conference particularly significant.

The conference also included a keynote speaker, various workshops, and a closing statement, reflecting the commitment to strengthening the movement for Palestinian liberation and building a shared assessment of the moment to chart out the next phase of the struggle.

Despite the controversy surrounding some of the speakers, the People's Conference for Palestine was a momentous event in the ongoing efforts to mobilize Marxists and Palestinians. It brought together a diverse range of participants and perspectives in the struggle for a free Palestine.

If you thought this was just a weekend conference, you ARE wrong. They are now “taking what they learned” and spreading it in their home cities.

Remember that a lot of these groups were tied to the Muslim Brotherhood in a big court case called the Holyland Foundation Trial. Some of them are now being sued in Tampa, Florida, for being involved in terrorism. This is really dangerous. Plus, these same groups are planning a big march on the DNC in Chicago this August. Don't forget that the head of the FBI, Director Wray, had to admit that there's a serious threat happening in the U.S. right now.
