A $4 Million Open Class Action Settlement has been reached with All-Clad over their dishes and cookware. The All-Clad class action lawsuit alleged that there was fraudulent advertising, and All-Clad agreed to settle out of court.

The class action lawsuit was filed after numerous customers reported that their All-Clad D3, D5, and LTD cookware suffered damage when cleaned in a dishwasher, despite the company's claims that the products were dishwasher safe. The lawsuit accused All-Clad of false advertising, breach of warranty, and violation of consumer protection laws.

The settlement covers consumers who purchased All-Clad D3, D5, or LTD cookware between November 2007 and September 2021. Under the agreement, All-Clad does not admit to any wrongdoing but has agreed to compensate affected customers.

Eligible consumers can choose from two compensation options: a cash payout of up to $250 per household or a 25% discount voucher for All-Clad products. The actual amount of compensation will depend on the number of valid claims submitted.

Customers who experience sharp edges can choose between three different types of compensation.

Class members can choose from three benefit options, including:

  1. A replacement of the damaged cookware, a replacement of the item, and a $75 refund
  2. An exchange of the damaged cookware for either a 5-piece fry pan set or a 13-piece essentials cookware set
  3. A 50% off credit for the future purchase of All-Clad cookware, capped at $600 off a $1,200 purchase

If you didn’t have those sharp edges, you can still get paid up to $262.50.

Class members who didn’t experience the sharp edges or got rid of their cookware can receive 35% off a future purchase — capped at $262.50 off a $750 purchase, with proof of purchase.
